Marin has always been good at navigating these unspoken guidelines. A star student and editor of the school paper, she dreams of getting into Brown University. Marin's future seems bright—and her young, charismatic English teacher, Mr. Beckett, is always quick to admire her writing and talk books with her. But when "Bex" takes things too far and comes on to Marin, she's shocked and horrified. Had she somehow led him on? Was it her fault? When Marin works up the courage to tell the administration what happened, no one believes her. She's forced to face Bex in class every day. Except now, he has an ax to grind. But Marin isn't about to back down. She uses the school newspaper to fight back and she starts a feminist book club at school. She finds allies& #x2014;and even romance—in the most unexpected people, like Gray Kendall, who she'd always dismissed as just another lacrosse bro. As things heat up at school and in her personal life, Marin must figure out how to take back the power and write her own rules. 533 Electronic reproduction.|bNew York|cHarperCollins|d2020 |nAvailable via World Wide Web. 650 0 Teenage girls|vJuvenile fiction|0(DLC)sh2010115876 650 0 High schools|vJuvenile fiction|0(DLC)sh2008105601 650 0 Teacher-student relationships|vJuvenile fiction|0(DLC)sh 85132960 650 0 Student newspapers and periodicals|vJuvenile fiction |0(DLC)sh 85129277 650 0 Book clubs (Discussion groups)|vJuvenile fiction |0(DLC)sh2003003058 650 0 Sexism|vJuvenile fiction|0(DLC)sh 85120678 650 1 Newspapers|vFiction|0(DLC)sj2002006650 655 7 Electronic books.|2tlcgt 655 7 Young adult fiction.|2lcgft 655 7 Romance fiction.|2lcgft 655 7 eBook. 700 1 Cotugno, Katie,|eAuthor|0(DLC)no2013106682 710 2 OverDrive, Inc.,|edistributor 856 40 |zAccess this title to use with your computer or mobile device using OverDrive.|uhttp://link.overdrive.com/ ?websiteID=316&titleID=4838323 856 40 |zClick here to access excerpt|uhttps:// samples.overdrive.com/?crid=1b949421-111f-45e4-8dd5- da60319d8d94&.epub-sample.overdrive.com
