La vida de Charlie solía ser tranquila. Tenía la habitación limpia, los libros de ornitología ordenados cuidadosamente, materiales para hacer manualidades, comía lo que le gustaba y seguía unas rutinas que le resultaban cómodas. Pero todo se ha ido complicando desde que a su padre, reportero de guerra, le hirieron en Afganistán. Y cuando lo mandan de California a Virginia para recibir tratamiento médico, Charlie se ve obligado a cruzar todo el país para estar con él. Con la loca de su hermana Davis, sus medio locos hermanos mellizos y la misteriosa Ludmila al volante. Así que Charlie toma la decisión de que, si por el camino puede encontrar y clasificar todos los pájaros que su padre y él querían buscar en el bosque, y mostrarle esa lista, entonces tal vez, solo tal vez, algún día las cosas vuelvan a ser como eran. |

Charlie's life used to be peaceful. His tidy room was filled with books about birds and he found comfort in his daily routine. Everything changes when his father, a war correspondent, gets wounded in Afghanistan. When he sent from California to Virginia, Charlie feels obligated to travel across the country to be with him. Along the way, Charlie decides if he could try to find and classify all the birds that he and his father had wanted to see in the woods, maybe everything would go back to the way it was before. |
