Summary "From a rising voice in the study of Black Lives in the US comes a book about racism in higher education, with a focus on the experience of Black women and girls in predominately white colleges and universities. Black Women, Ivory Tower blends the author's own experiences and family history with socio-historical analysis and research, to analyze the ways that systemic racism has denied Black women an equitable education and chart a course for a more equitable future"-- Provided by publisher.
