| Summary |
In this Buster Keaton silent classic, he is falsely accused of breaking a window by a woman and is taken into a courtroom where the judge doesn't understand English. Think that Buster and the woman are engaged, the judge mistakenly marries them and Buster is quickly taken home by the woman to meet her family. At first, Buster is treated severely by his new in-laws but, due to a case of misunderstanding, the family begins to treat Buster nice since they think he's going to inherit a large sum of money. More hilarity ensues when the mistake is discovered, after the family has already moved into a penthouse that they now cannot afford. |
