Twenty-six- year-old Brady Neil a resident of the neighboring town of Hamilton, had no criminal record, few friends, worked full -time, and attended community college. But as Detective Peter Decker learns, the clean-cut kid is linked to the criminal world. When Brady was a baby, his father, Brandon Gratz, was convicted of robbing and killing the owners of a local jewelry store. While Gratz and his partner, Kyle Masterson, admitted to the robbery, they swore they left the owners, Glen and Lydia Levine, very much alive. The experienced detective knows there's more to this homicide case than the records show. As he digs into Gratz's past, Decker begins to suspect that the son's murder may be connected to the father's sins. Before he can put together the pieces, Decker finds out that one of Brady Neil's friends, Joseph Boch--aka Boxer--has gone missing. Heading to Boch's house with his temporary new partner, Hamilton PD cop Lenora Baccus, they discover a bloodbath. Who would savagely kill two innocent men--and why? Finding the answers will require all of Decker's skill and knowledge, the help of his fellow Greenbury detectives, Tyler McAdams and Kevin Butterfield, and information gleaned from his wife Rina's behind the scenes investigation to put all the pieces of this deadly puzzle together, and see justice done."--Amazon.com. 600 10 Decker, Peter|c(Fictitious character)|vFiction. 600 10 Lazarus, Rina|c(Fictitious character)|vFiction. 600 17 Decker, Peter|c(Fictitious character)|2fast |0(OCoLC)fst00889094 600 17 Lazarus, Rina|c(Fictitious character)|2fast |0(OCoLC)fst00994512 600 17 Decker, Peter|c(Fictitious character)|vFiction.|2sears 600 17 Lazarus, Rina|c(Fictitious character)|vFiction.|2sears 650 0 Police|zNew York (State)|vFiction. 650 0 Police spouses|vFiction. 650 0 Murder|xInvestigation|vFiction. 650 7 FICTION|xMystery & Detective|xPolice Procedural.|2bisacsh 650 7 FICTION|xThrillers|xCrime.|2bisacsh 650 7 FICTION|xThrillers|xSuspense.|2bisacsh 650 7 Murder|xInvestigation.|2fast|0(OCoLC)fst01029788 650 7 Police.|2fast|0(OCoLC)fst01068398 650 7 Police spouses.|2fast|0(OCoLC)fst01068692 650 7 Police|zNew York (State)|vFiction.|2sears 650 7 Homicide|vFiction.|2sears 650 7 Criminal investigation|vFiction.|2sears 651 0 New York (State)|vFiction. 651 7 New York (State)|2fast|0(OCoLC)fst01210280 651 7 New York (State)|vFiction.|2sears 655 0 Large type books. 655 4 Large print books. 655 4 Detective and mystery fiction. 655 7 Detective and mystery fiction.|2fast|0(OCoLC)fst01726581 655 7 Fiction.|2fast|0(OCoLC)fst01423787 655 7 Novels.|2fast|0(OCoLC)fst01921742 655 7 Mystery fiction.|2gsafd 655 7 Detective and mystery fiction.|2lcgft 655 7 Novels.|2lcgft 655 7 Mystery fiction.|2sears 775 08 |iReproduction of (manifestation):|aKellerman, Faye. |tWalking shadows.|dNew York, NY : William Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollinsPublishers, [2018]|z9780062424983 938 Brodart|bBROD|n121485544 938 YBP Library Services|bYANK|n15737915 994 C0|bORL
